Samsung M21 review
The best mid-range budget phone period! I used Symphony and now
I have switched to M21 and I am pretty pleased with it so far. I can say with confidence it is a better phone than all my previous Redmi devices which fell in the same price range.
The killer feature is the super amoled display. This is my first phone with an amoled panel and it is miles ahead of anything. IPS or TFTS just cannot match it in terms of contrast and vibrant colors. Watching videos is an amazing experience.
The Exynos 9611 is a pretty decent processor for day to day use (browsing, watching videos, checking mails, light gaming) although I am not a gamer and have not installed games which are resource intensive. Cameras are good and match the ones I had on my Symphony however they cannot be compared to cameras on flagship devices.
I get a decent battery life of one and half days with average screen ontime of 8-9 hours. The phone doesn't heat up and there are no issues of lag. The new One UI is lot better than the earlier Samsung skins.
In a nutshell, with the super amoled for USD 170, this is one of the cheapest amoled phones on the market right now (possibly the cheapest). That in itself combined with the decent processor, cameras and battery life should make it a compelling buy.
I like it very much.
